Shipping Policy

Service area: Canada only (all provinces and territories where our carriers deliver).

Shipping methods & carriers

AVU uses trusted carriers to deliver products within Canada.

Shipping options (standard, expedited, overnight) and costs are shown at checkout. Large furniture items may require special handling (long-carry,  orappointment delivery).

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (unless a product is a custom order or back-ordered). You will receive confirmation emails for order receipt, dispatch, and tracking information.

Shipping rates & taxes

Shipping charges are based on item size, weight, delivery method and destination. Prices at checkout include applicable Canadian taxes (GST/PST/HST) as required by the shipping destination.

Delivery windows & appointments

For large deliveries, we will schedule an appointment window. Please ensure someone is available to accept delivery; additional fees may apply for missed appointments or re-delivery.

Remote locations & delays

Deliveries to remote or difficult-to-access locations may take longer and incur additional fees. AVU is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other force majeure events.

Order tracking & issues

You will receive tracking information once an order ships. Report shipping issues (damage in transit, non-delivery) within 7 days of the expected delivery date to orders@avumgmt.ca so we can assist and, if necessary, file a carrier claim.

Large-item delivery notes

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring an adequate path and access for delivery. Extra fees may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to obstructions or access issues.
